Amitabha or Meditative Buddha - Statue
Amitabha or Meditative Buddha is part of the Five Wisdom Buddhas. These five buddhas represent five directions and different qualities associated with the Buddhist elements and characteristics.
Amitabha faces West and portrays full consciousness.
Amitabha depicts love and compassion. He is as vibrant and intense as the sun. In Sanskrit Amitabha translates to, “He who’s light is infinite and without bound.”
He is positioned so far west that he is untouched by our world and if called upon can help one travel through their dharma to become buddhas and eventually return to help others on their path.
